As a driver, I’ve worked my way through a few cars. From an ’85 Honda Accord which I drove into the ground (RIP Steve), to the ’05 Honda Civic that replaced him that my brother currently drives and now my ’06 Toyota Corolla. I have my (virtually unattainable) dream car. It’s up there with the Bentley Continental GT
– there’s no way I’d ever be able to afford one lest I win the lottery. That won’t happen because I don’t play the lottery haha.
If I wanted a truck, I’d go with something like the Nissan Frontier. I’m not sure if my parents are considering that specifically. If you remember, I wrote about their quest for a trailer. When I think Nissan, I automatically think great vehicles. My dad’s managed to drive quite a few during his time as a chairperson for the Nissan Open, a PGA Tour tournament. They’d give him a car to drive for a couple months that had the tournament logo plastered on the sides. I’m pretty sure he’s had the chance to drive the Frontier.
My uncle drives a Mistubishi Evolution (a Lancer) in nice bright yellow which is a car the husband has kind of drooled over. My uncle has had that car for what seems like forever. It’s well worn, but he takes good care of it. If the husband had one of his dream cars, I’m sure he’d take just as good care of it.
We have a parking spot neighbor who has a Buick Enclave which looks like a beautiful SUV, it’s too bad they’re dicks when it comes to parking. They stick their tale end out and we have to maneuver our compact sedan around it while making sure not to scrape against the concrete support column on the other. On the rare occasion, they’ll manage a complete dick move and park so close to our spot that we have to be SUPER careful about how we get into our spot. It’s so obnoxious. I appreciate a beautiful car, especially a nicely designed SUV, but why are they typically driven by jerks?
Whether or not you drive, do you have an unattainable dream car? What about a realistic dream car? What are they?
