For the past few years, I have been saddled with weight gain. There really isn’t anything specific that caused it, but I haven’t been totally successful in getting it off. I don’t like working out in the traditional sense and I really like food. Because of that, I don’t whine about my weight often, or the way I look in clothes and such. Who wants to hear the complaints of someone who can change what they’re complaining about but doesn’t? Exactly. That’s not to say I haven’t worked at various points on my weight, either by working out, counting calories, abstaining from certain types of food, or eating healthier foods. Heck, I’ve even bought a couple different types of weight loss diet pills to assist in my efforts.

I’m pretty sure one of the bottles of diet pills is still sitting in a cabinet at my parents’ house, fairly full. I’m a bit bad with pill taking, especially something that isn’t necessary to whatever condition I may be suffering from. Being overweight, I don’t first attempt to treat it with pills, so taking a supplement to help get the weight off wasn’t a priority. Not to mention, most weight loss supplements are just that, something to help, not treat, the “condition” of being overweight. As we should all know1, supplements aren’t FDA regulated or approved for the most part. So, if you’re looking for the best diet pills, I’d recommend going off of the one or two items that have been approved by the FDA and use them according to the directions given. Nothing can be effective unless you’re using them as directed…

  1. In the US at least.
