One of the things you have to consider when setting up home is how exactly you plan on accessorizing your rooms. It doesn’t seem like a very big deal, but when you really stop to think about it, it’s actually kind of overwhelming. I mean, have you ever been inside an IKEA?? There are so many styles and even just trying to fill a room, let alone with all the same style, is fairly difficult! I’ve had discussions with the husband over whether or not he prefers stainless steel appliances, primarily in regards to the kitchen. He’s the cook, but he does it so infrequently these days, I don’t know how much power I want him wielding over the design of a room he’s not going to spend much time in.
It does seem that having items, like blomus stainless steel fireplace accessories, would compliment almost any decor. Not to mention how easy it would to clean the items after using it. My parents have a fireplace in their house and they have some seriously old, painted tools for the fireplace which end up leaving flakes of paint in your hand when you use them. There wouldn’t be any of that with the stainless steel items!
My only concern is how sterilized everything might look if there’s too much of it around, like having everything from your appliances to accessories to even a blomus stainless steel mailbox outside. That would be just a tad too much… finding a right balance between function and style without going too far in either direction is key. It’s difficult and overwhelming, but it’s a fun project to take on overall. I find it fun to always be on the lookout for awesome pieces I’d like to use in my house once I’m rooted somewhere more permanent, don’t you?
