I always thought I was doing well having a normal, everyday flip-phone in this day and age – until recently.
As a retirement gift, my son Mark thought that I could really benefit from having a slight phone upgrade (Ok, a total upgrade) and bought me a brand new smartphone. He taught me how to search for applications, and he helped me download the GPS one – which comes in so handy when I’m running errands. Definitely cuts down on my lost-in-transit time! The application even helped me find a location for hearing test in Texas without any trouble at all.
The cell phone also helped me when my husband and I left Texas for a vacation in New Orleans. We used it to find restaurants, fun sites to see and other places of interest that we didn’t want to miss.
This is one of the best gifts I’ve ever received, and I have my wonderful son to thank for it. I can tell that this new phone is going to help me for a long time to come.
