How did you meet? We met while us theatre folk were developing our game plans for the 2003 DTASC Fall Festival. He got together with some guys in the Play Production class to do an “Anything Goes” scene, while I was with my friends developing our “Serious” scene.

When did you meet? Fall of 2003, my Senior and his Junior year of High School.

What were your first thoughts? He’s kinda cute and funny.

What/where was your first date? From my memory, our first real date was to Coldstone Creamery in Calabasas.

How old were both of you? I was 17, he was 16.

When did he meet your family? It was after a rehearsal for our Spring musical, Sweeney Todd: The Demon of Fleet Street. My parents were nearby at a restaurant with friends and I was to meet them, so I invited him along. He was so nervous but I thought nothing of it.

What did your family think? I’m not sure. I think my dad was surprised that he met a boyfriend of mine for once and my mom, initially, said once “As long as you don’t marry him,” jokingly. Joke’s on her!

When did he meet your friends? He met them when we met. We all went to high school with one another.

What did your friends think? My best friend, Amber, didn’t like him – but that was because of previous drama that occurred before I even attending the high school I was at. All the others… I’m not really sure!

Have you talked about marriage yet? We’re way past that!

What is the marriage verdict? It’s been checked off our list!

Have you talked about kids yet? Yes.

How long into the relationship was your first argument? I don’t know. I didn’t keep track. We were kind of a volatile couple.

What did you argue about? Probably about him not keeping his word, either with calling or not telling me the truth.

Fun Stuff

Who flirted first? I’m pretty sure he did, but I didn’t know it at the time. He would snap his fingers in front of my face.

How did you know he was into you? When he did a “drive-by” hug back stage right before one of our last performances of our Fall play, The Nerd.

Did he use a pick-up line? If so, what was it? Kind of. During one of our phone conversations early on, he told me, “If I were to fall for you, would you catch me?” I thought it was cute and sweet hehe.

What is longest you have gone without seeing each other? About 3 months.

Were you friends before dating? Not really.

Do you like the same sports teams? We both like the Dodgers and the Kings. I don’t know what other similarities we have as far as sports is concerned. I’m not very into sports.

When did you meet his friends? We all went to high school with one another, so I kind of already knew some of his friends.

How do you feel about his friends? I didn’t agree with what they did in their free time, and his friends now are more or less my friends as well.

When you are both in the car, do you agree on the music? Kinda, sorta. We have a lot of musical tastes in common, but then we have some very different tastes as well heh.

Did you get nervous before the first date? Not really, because by that time, we had already been together. You know, the whole high school dating thing.

Hardships

Have you been through anything really tough together? Absolutely.

What? Distance, lies, family interference on his side.

Have you come close to breaking up? We’ve broken up for very short periods of time once or twice (less than 24 hours). We tried a separation once which might have lasted a night, if we went through with it at all.

Why? Various reasons.

Why did/do you feel it was/is important to work things out? Our infatuation with one another evolved into love.

Has he seen you cry? Absolutely.

Has he made you cry? How? Yes, by being dishonest and breaking his word.

Have you made him/her cry? How? Yes, similar to how he made me cry.

What do you do to fix problems in your relationship? We argue and cry it out, have make-up sex (sometimes) and sleep on it.

Personal Stuff

Who held hands first? I think it was a mutual thing.

What was the first kiss like? (on the cheek, the lips, etc.) It was nerve-wracking and terrible haha. Technically, our first kiss was on a dare and we banged teeth. We both like each other and were eager & nervous to kiss the other. Our, I guess, real first kiss, was – I’d say – violent. We made out through the duration of the movie Chicago. He gave me such hickeys on my neck that it looked like I had been strangled.

Who kissed who first? Going off the first “real” kiss, he kissed me first.

How did you feel after that first kiss? Giddy.

Who made the first “big” move? He did. He tried so hard, bless his soul lol.

How did you feel? I felt comfortable enough with him that I knew I would with him, but at the time he made the first “big” move, I wasn’t ready.

How long into the relationship did you umm… do the “deed”? 3 months.

Are things in the bedroom still ‘hot’? Yes.

Him And My Friends

Do any of your friends absolutely hate him/her? Not really anymore. There is a mutual dislike between some of them, though.

Why? They have their reasons. I’m over it.

Do you go on group dates? Not really, we just hang out with our friends, who happen to be in a couple lol.

Does your guy consider any of your friends to be his? Yes, we’ve shared friends for the past few years.

Do any of your friends talk bad about your partner to you? One or two of them and rarely.

How do you respond? I ignore it, for the most part and change the subject.

Does what your friends think affect your relationship? Not really.
