One Hundred Facts

  1. I’m right handed, but I always cut my food with my left hand.
  2. I’m a natural “buttery” blonde.
  3. My hair has been dyed pink, purple, auburn, blue, “breen”, brown and I’ve had black streaks.
  4. The only locations I’ve been to outside of the Contintental United States are Vancouver, BC, Canada and Alaska
  5. My first concert was Harry Belefonte.
  6. Hazelnut and almond are my favorite nuts.
  7. The longest I’ve grown my hair was half-way down my back and that was just recently – until I cut it, of course.
  8. I’m very flatulent. My mom says I was born that way. My friends have come to accept it.
  9. My primary addiction is carbonation.
  10. My secondary addiction is nicotine.
  11. Once I’ve loved somebody, I’ll always love them.
  12. My left canine tooth is positioned up higher than the rest of my teeth.
  13. T-shirts, jeans, and weather permitting, sweatshirts are my clothing staples.
  14. I don’t enjoy having big boobs, but I enjoy showing off the cleavage I always wanted when I was younger.
  15. I’m what you would consider a grammar nazi. Not severely so, since I keep it to myself for the most part.
  16. My favorite song, Peter Gabriel “In Your Eyes”, has been unchanged for the past several years.
  17. I’ve never seen “Say Anything”.
  18. The song I associate with losing my virginity is “Today” by the Smashing Pumpkins.
  19. Sometimes I am more gullible/naïve than I like to admit. Most people know this, however.
  20. I used to be a Backstreet Boys fan, but now I’m an NSync convert.
  21. I can only perform a cartwheel leading off with my left hand.

  23. Karaoke bars are my favorite.
  24. My favorite color is hot pink – but not everything is or has to be hot pink!
  25. When I painted my room several years back, I was aiming for a rose and burgundy combination… It really just turned out pink & red.
  26. My one make-up essential is mascara due to the fact that my eyelashes are so light.
  27. I don’t really understand all the specific sub-genres of music. I can only really get my mind around the primary ones.
  28. The one injury I suffer most are burns.
  29. Johnny Depp is the one actor I have an uncontrollable desire for.
  30. I’m easily amused and easily distracted.
  31. I prefer salty over sweet. I’d rather have a dill pickle than chocolate.

  34. I’ve seen Cher in concert twice.
  35. My favorite band is U2 and I’ve seen them once in concert.
  36. For someone who always felt like they had a low tolerance for pain, I’ve managed to get 3 ear piercings and 3 tattoos in the past 5 years with no tears and little-to-no swearing.
  37. The only sport I really enjoy watching is baseball.
  38. I graduated from USAF boot camp as an Honor Graduate and miss Expert Marksman with the M16 by 5 shots.
  39. I received Student of the Month for June ’06 from my squadron on Shaw AFB in South Carolina.
  40. When I joined the Air Force, I was kept in the Southern US for my duration – including central and northern Texas, southern Mississippi and central South Carolina.
  41. I’ve experienced two major natural disasters – the 1994 Northridge Earthquake and Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
  42. My favorite liquor is Tequila.
  43. My signature drink is gin & tonic.
  44. My go-to music while I’m on an airplane is Josh Groban “Live at the Greek”.
  45. I fell in love with his rendition of Paul Simon’s “America”.
  46. I’m fairly close to my family and am very family oriented. I don’t mind spending time with them, and actually prefer it!
  47. All coding and script I’ve learned is self-taught. My knowledge isn’t extensive but it gets me by with the occasional help sought out.
  48. I prefer Paint Shop Pro over Photoshop.
  49. I love improvisation.
  50. I’m flirtatious, but when I drink a little too much, I become really flirtatious…
  51. I hate summer. The only thing I enjoy about it are the warm evenings.

  61. When doing my makeup, I play up my eyes first, then if I’m up for it, I’ll do my mouth.
  62. I’m not a phone person at all.
  63. I avoid confrontation like the plague for the most part.
  64. I don’t bite my nails, but I do pick at and bite the skin around my cuticles.
  65. I like to consider myself very open-minded and understanding. When friends come to me with any kind of problem, I rarely – if ever – judge.
  66. The one piece of jewelry I want most is a pair of diamond stud earrings. At least half a carat.
  67. I used to only be able to fall asleep with music playing and a little bit of light on in my room if there was no one else in the room with me. Now I fall asleep like most normal people do.
  68. I’m not very good with numbers at all, but I’m the one in my household who has to take care of the finances.
  69. I love words so I love poetry, song lyrics, phrases, quotes… and learning synonyms for commonly used words.
  70. Green eyes are my favorite because they’re similar to blue eyes but so much more uncommon.
  71. I snore a little bit. It’s even worse when I’ve been drinking.
  72. When I drink enough, I get what some of my friends call an “Elvis lip” – in other words, my upper lip begins to curl up on the right side.

  74. I don’t like being awake, however, when the sun is rising. The world is coming awake and it makes me sad that I won’t have the solitude of the night anymore.

  82. I only sleep on my sides or back. Laying on my stomach makes my ribs hurt.

  85. I don’t appreciate especially loud and obnoxious noises.
  86. Friends ask me why I’m yelling a lot, but it’s because my voice just seems to get louder without me realizing it or meaning to be louder.
  87. I can do really well with karaoke or really bad… I’ve had it go both ways.
  88. I love asparagus from a can with Italian dressing.
  89. I also love bleu cheese on my steaks and burgers.
  90. I’m fairly easy going but I can become really disappointed when plans with friends fall apart.

  95. One of my serious pet peeves and what really offends me is when people deliberately lie to me, especially about inconsequential things.
  96. It may not seem like it, but I am a very prideful person. Two of my biggest fears is disappointing people and failure at something I’m really trying for.
  97. Matchmaking is definitely not one of my strong suits. Things may start of well between two people I’ve somehow put together, but they usually end in some sort of disaster. So don’t ask, lol!
  98. I’m a collector of fonts. I think it goes hand-in-hand with my love of words.
